Comment : I have some history on Malone. Patrick Malone, March 14, 1841 to July 1, 1907, County Monaghan, City Carrick, Province Ulster, Ireland married Julia Burke and they had John Henry Malone, James Edward Malone, and Ann Margaret Malone. John Henry married Mary Ann Lynch and they had nine children, one which was Vincent James Malone who was my husband Daniel James Malone Sr's Grandfather. I can go on. Great Directory, til later, Star

Comment : I'm trying to track down information on my Grandfather and any family in the New York area. My Grandfather was Edwin Malone and he married Cletus Conway. I believe he was from County Cork, I'm not sure about her. I don't know when the family came over or if he was born here or in Ireland. They lived Initially in Manhatten and then moved to Staten Island. He was the Administrator at Seaview TB hospital for awhile. Any information would be appreciated.

Comment :  I'm searching for info on John Malone who lived in or around Bakersfield or the Chinese Camp in the early 1900's. He moved there from Ohio with a son named Perry. They settled in the area and john died in that area. If anyone has any background information, the Malone's in Ohio are really interested. We are trying to trace the family tree. Thank you.

Comment :  Happy New Year! Just on a whim, I went surfing for my family name. My father is Roger B. Malone, Grandfather was Laurence B. Malone, and my Great Grandfather was Michael Malone. Michael Malone is from Pennsylvania and his parents were from Ireland (County Cork, we think). My Grandfather, Father, and I were all born in Poughkeepsie, New York. My cousin, Michael Malone, is the one doing the family history. His email is: lonergr@juno.com We would love to hear from fellow Malone.

Comment : My Malone's originated in Kinsale Town, County Cork, Ireland. My GGGrandfather George Malone born 1812 in Ireland immigrated to Canada in the mid 1800's. He married Dora and they had at least four children. One of which was my Great Grandfather George Beecheer Malone born 1847 died 1904. He married Annie Davis. One of the their children was my Grandfather William Haynes Malone who married Margaret Storms Cook or Cook Storms (I'm not sure which) and later after the birth of my grandfather was forced to divorce her and later married Hilda Mildred Hanson. If you find anthing anywhere that connects with Malone that went from Canada to Michigan to Illinois. Please let me know.

Comment : Thanks for giving us Malone's the opportunity to correspond with each other. I'm searching for my lineage, particularly my great grandfathers brother who moved to Texas in the 1830's. My Great grandfathers name was George Washington Malone. He moved from Jones County, Georgia to Dekalb County, Alabama in the 1830's or 1840's. He married Eulitia Cunningham and my Grandfathers name was Goerge Lee Malone who died in 1946. Most of us still live within four to five miles of where G.W. Malone settled in Dekalb COunty, Alabama. However, when he and his brothers went to Texas during the Mexican War, apparently his brothers stayed.

I'm so happy to see someone interested enough to do this on our name sakes, my John Sr. came to Sullivan County NC/TN in 1778 with NC land grants for Revoultion War service. Would like to share information if there is anyone interested. Thanks for allowing me to post comments and sign your book. Bob Shell
