From 1896 through 1910 the following Wietecha's came to Chicopee, Mass. and were from Niewodna or the area near by. They were Michael, Joseph, Roman, William, Simon, Andrew, Sofia, Karolina, and Katrarzyna. It is believed that some of the above names are siblings to Jan Albert Wietecha. They all entered the county through Ellis Island, New York.
   
Immigration Entered the United States at Ellis Island May 12, 1900 onboard the S.S.
Main. He left April 28, 1900 from Breman, Germany. He had been manifested on the Friedrich der Grosse which arrived on May 1, 1900 but was scratched from the manifest and left in Germany due to a fever.
