The 1879 record book is closed to the public but The town clerk produced a deposition signed in 1907 correcting the orginal death record changing the name from Callahan to Cullinan. In the North Adams, Mass. City Directories for 1890 to 1893 there are eight Callahan's including a Mrs. Catherine Callahan. It is small number of People which would indicate that all are related or could be related therefore giving the possibility that Patrick Cullinan was in North Adams, Mass with his mother and several siblings. There is also the possibility that Patrick was in Florida, Massachusetts as early as 1870 and again listed as Callahan in the Federal Census. In 1870 there was a Patrick Callahan age 19 working in the Hoosac Tunnel. Note 2: Died from a train car hitting him, while employed with the Boston and Maine Railroad. He was working in the Hoosac Tunnel, North Adams, Massachusetts.
