Employment:	Worked as an actor in Vaudeville on stages in New York and Philadelphia.
                He worked with his partner James Kennedy as "Black Face Comedians" until
                his wife became ill and died in 1922.  He could no longer make the trips to 
		New York and Philadelphia with small children at home so he ended his
                Vaudeville acting and Joined the Father Mathew Temperance Society of 
                St. Patrick's Church in Chicopee, MA.  He worked as an actor, director, 
                and make-up artists with the group and the Stage name of Herbert Todd was
                used at various times. The Father Mathews Temperance Societies of the 
                Springfield Diocease reported there were 4,427 active members and 504 
                of them were in the Holyoke St. Jerome's Society. He then worked as a
		Janitor from around 1940 at Westover AFB in Chicopee, MA until his 
		retirement in 1942.
