THIRD MEMBER OF FAMILY TO DIE DURING EPIDEMIC
Barre, Oct. 18 - Arthur C. Vanetti whose home is in the Northern passed away at the City Hospital Wednesday night at 10 o'clock. He was stricken with the Grip three weeks ago and later Pneumonia developed. The deceased is the third member of the Vanetti Family to succumb during the epidemic. His father F. Natale Vanetti of the Vanetti Granite Company and his younger brother Alphonse who passed away a fortnight ago.
Mr. Vanetti is survived by his wife who was formerly Miss Adele Derosia and by his daughter Victoria Vanetti. His mother Mrs. Natale Vanetti and sisters Mrs. Frank Fraquelli and Miss Angelina Vanetti also survive.
The deceased was born in Italy 24 years ago and came to America as a young child with his parents. He was employed for several years by the Vanettie Granite Company and lately had been engaged in work at the plant of Novelli and Calcagni. Mr. Vanetti was member of the Independent Order of Foresters and belonged to the Union of Lumpers, Boxers, and Derrickmen.
The funeral Mass was held at St. Monica's Church and interment was at Hope Cemetery. The Reverend Father P. M. Mckenna officated at the service.
The newspaper known as The Barre Times is now known as The Times Argus.
