Chicopee Jan. 18 - John Malone of 83 Belcher St. died at the Mercy Hospital yesterday after a short illness. He was born in Ireland, coming to Chicopee Falls 40 yrs ago and had lived there ever since. He was employed at the Johnson and Johnson Mills as a watchman for 20 years, retiring 10 years ago. He leaves two brothers William Malone of Springfield and Thomas of Ireland, four nephews and three nieces. The funeral will be held Thursday morning at the P.M. Shea Company Funeral Parlors at 8:15 followed by requiem High Mass Mass in St. Patrick's Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Chicopee Falls.
