Springfield Mar. 31 - William J. Malone of 46 Vinton Street, died last night at his home after a brief illness. He was born in Ireland, and had lived in the city 50 years. He leaves one son William J. Malone Jr. of Rochester, New York and two daughters, Miss Catherine U. and Miss Mary T. Malone both at home. Mrs. Catherine (Boland) Malone his wife died five months ago. The funeral will be held at the home tomorrow morning at 11 followed by a soleman requiem High Mass at the Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
