message: My husband's Great, Great Grandfather was John Malone of Ballinasloe,
Ireland. He was born about 1806 in the Parish of Fohanny in or near the town
of Ballinasloe, County Galway, Ireland. He served for 20 years in the British
Army from Janu 12, 1825 to Feb 13, 1846. He was with the 31st Regiment of Foot
in Ireland and India. He had 10 children, 5 born in India (Elizabeth, Anthony,
John, Edward and one unknown) and 5 born in Polboy, Ireland (Mary, Thomas, Ann,
Gatrin and Margaret. If anyone has additional information they would like to
share with me, I would be thankful and willing to share what I know. Thank You,
