Rafferty b 1842 Ireland. They came to USA, had daughters Mary Ann and Teresa in
NYC. Trying to find out where in Ireland they are from. From other info, it may

message: I'm looking for any information on James B (or James B B ) Malone, born
in or around 1816 in Virginia, or information on his parents. According to a
late 1800s census, his father was born in Ireland, and his mother was born in
Pennsylvania. But by the time James was born, they lived in Virginia. That's
all I know about his parents. As an adult James lived in Kanawha County,
Virginia, and even later in Kentucky. He was married to Caroline, and had one
son, William David (or William D) who fought for Virginia in the Civil War.
James is buried in Grayson, Carter County, Kentucky, along with his wife and a
few descendants. It's known as the Old Grayson Cemetery. Any information at
all would be appreciated.
